I had tried both Lipton and Dilmah and find the latter wins my choice due to the followings:
1) When you open a new box of Lipton tea, there is no tea fragrance but Dilmah is a yes.
2) When the tea is brewed, the colour of the tea from Lipton is unnturally dark but Dilmah is red and crystally clear.
3) When the tea cools down, Lipton does not give out any tea fragrance but Dilmah yes
4) Smelling directly on the teaabg, Lipton does not have any fragrant tea leaf smell while Dilmah is pure and has fragrance
5) Come to know that Lipton is mixed tea leaves while Dilmah is pure one-type tea leaves
Those who chosen Lipton above are not wrong because they are used to English Breakfast Tea which is also a mixture of two types of tea. However is compare Lipton to Twinings, Twinings is better.
So if you are looking for pure cylon tea then Dilmah would be a better choice, go for at least the Premium Ceylon which is at affordable consumer price.
