The bacon was cooked and then I placed it in the water with the green beans to soak overnight with salt and seasonings then in the morning I placed them in a crock pot to cook all day on low heat. Is the bacon ok to leave in the crock pot?

I'm not much of a picky eater but I wouldn't eat it unless the whole pot of green beans and bacon was refrigerated overnight. If it wasn't refrigerated while it soaked, yuck! Forget it. The bacteria and molds have had too long to work on it. Slow cooking might destroy them but green beans that are improperly canned without enough acid can support the growth of Botulism bacteria so I'm careful about preparing them properly - and heating doesn't destroy the botulism poison the bacteria produce. I'd never leave green beans and pork soaking together over night without refrigerating it.
