Scone. I wiouldn't call a cone a con, and therefore wouldn't call a scone a scon.

I believe the correct pronunciation is scon, but I wonder why?
There's a place is Scotland called Scone - so perhaps they have the correct pronunciation i.e. Scon

The word scone has two pronunciations:
Scone said to rhyme with gone is more common in the north of Britain, and to rhyme with bone is more common in the south.
