Your question is kinda Zen, isn't it?

With water I think that it's not so much HOW it tastes,

but what it DOESN'T taste like - Chlorine, sulfur and other impurities!

Once my son and I were in Glacier National Park in Montana and drank out of the stream :: perhaps with melted ic e water from 100,000 years ago we could hallucinate DINOSAURS!

Actually, it's a Legitimate Question. Because not ALL water "tastes" the Same". I mean, have You never gone someplace, turned on the Tap to get a drink- & said, "Eww, -This water Tastes funny..." ?! I for one -don't like the Taste of Bottled Water (it "tastes" flat- to me); -But my Tap water here is OK; -and Fresh Rainwater is DELICIOUS ! So the Question is not without Merit... :)

it actually depends if it's filtered water or not. it's hard to describe, but it does have a taste...it's weird. no one really needs to ask though because like everyone has had water at some time lol. i have no idea why people ask...

if someone asked me i would just say that it's refreshing tasting haha.

Water tastes like chlorine or minerals, depending on the source.

Pure water doesn't have a taste.

It's incredibly hard to describe how water tastes. But if you were to describe a grape, you could describe it as tangy or sweet or sour and round and hard or mushy. But how would you describe water? liquidy?
