If chocolates come from coco, what has been done to it in order to turn in into white chocolate?

What is the difference between the white and dark chocolate? I understand the purer the coco the darker the chocolate?!

I think white chocolate just has cocoa butter for some of that flavor. Almost all chocolates use heaps of vanilla anyway, so to our tongue, maybe it's not a big stretch to drop the actual chocolate.

White chocolate isn't actually made with any chocolate. It's called white chocolate because its melting properties and texture and versatility are similar to those of chocolate. It's a kind of candy.

Dark chocolate has a higher cacao content than milk chocolate and results in a much more intense chocolate taste.

white chocolate lacks cocobutter which is naturally brown in color. A substitute is used to make it creamy. And the dark chocolate is just that, the purer the coco the darker.

White chocolate is not really chocolate. It's really not chocolate. It is made with confectioners sugar and cocoa butter, unlike "chocolate which is made from the cocoa tree beans. The higher content of beans, the darker the chocolate. And the darker chocolate is actually beneficial to your body.

Dark chocolate is comprised of cocoa liqueur, cocoa butter and sugar.

Milk chocolate adds milk and uses less liqueur than the dark chocolate.

White chocolate is not truly chocolate, but a confection created out of cocoa butter and sugar. Cocoa powder used in baking is chocolate liqueur from which the butter has been extracted, allowed to harden and then ground.

White chocolate isn't even chocolate. As far as I know it contains no cacao. The darker the chocolate, the less sugar and milk product.

White chocolate is not chocolate, its a confection based on cocoa butter. It doesnt contain any cocoa liquor, but is made by adding milk solids, vanilla, and emulsifiers to melted cocoa butter, or vegetable shortening.

Nothings been "done" to it per se'. White chocolate does not contain cocoa powder, if I remember correctly, only cocoa butter, so it is not, by definition, actually chocolate.

white chocolate is merely a candy confection, not a true chocolate. It is missing the cocoa or carob constituent in true chocolate

It's not really chocolate. It's made from milk fats. Taste great though.
