Hey guys. I am not sure, but I bought a whole bunch of Mr. Noodles from the grocery store the other day! Around 100 packages or something. I know that the packets for the flavoring contain a lot of sodium, and MSG, and other junk so I throw that out and I just use the noodles themselves. There is not a whole lot of nutrients in it, so I crack an egg or 2 pour some vingar and I get poached egg. Whatever food I think I can get I toss in the water and I make the noodles a little more healthier. I am wondering what do you guys do to the Mr. Noodles to make them more healthy! They are awesme because they are 25 cents.

No, they are NOT good for you or healthy.

Noodles are one of the cheapest items for them to produce and probably cost the company almost nothing to make. At least some pasta products are 'fortified' but not those cheap noodles.

You have not received the bargain you think you have.

Good idea throwing out the packets. FYI they are high in fat. Now what to do with all those noodles. Use organic eggs if you can. I like shredded lettuce in mine. Try any veg u have, fresh, frozen or canned. Any leftovers work great with them. Cut up hot dogs or sausages, just make sure they are cooked first. Try crushing them while in the packet and eat them uncooked, like chips. My favorite soup has shredded lettuce, canned corn and an egg dropped into it. I use the broth from the corn in place of water. Noodles are cheap and easy to cook, perfect for my boys at home and away from home. Kudos for trying your hand at cooking and trying to make the noodles nutritious!

I also ditch the sachet and will use instead of regular pasta in recipes. ot dissolve a teaspoon of vegemite in water and use that as the liquid and have it as a noodle soup.

You can add some green vegetables to make it healthy.
