I bought some Miracle Whip on sale yesterday, the expiration date is august 2006 Do you think it's safe to use

I should have know that if it was 2 for $3.00 there was something wrong but I got it at a local CVS Pharmacy.

Its safe to use, but not to eat. You can use it for other purposes than eating. Smear it on someone's door handles and watch as they grab ahold and go ewww. Or, for fun, take it to a store at night, and smear it all over the window, and wait until morning, when someone cleans it, and laugh while they have to scrub to get it all off. Or better yet, make a sandwich with it for a friend, and then watch them be sick all night long. You can't find too many ways to have fun for only $1.50.

You should toss it away. Most mayonaise consists of milk and egg products which do expire quite quickly. You don't want to end up getting food poison for a jar of mayonaise. Go back to that pharmacy and see if you can get a refund.
