Where can i buy Blackstrap Molasses in the UK?

I have noticed Holland and Barretts do the tablet supplements but im looking for the jar to add to foods, to help with my anaemia and hair loss, i have heard it is really good...

I buy Meridian organic blackstrap molasses from Tesco's although I think you'll only find it in their larger stores or online.

I love it although I think it's one of those things you either love or hate.



Goodness Direct sell the same, online. If you search blackstrap molasses you'll find a few other online suppliers.



I have bought jars of molasses in Holland and Barrett and other health food stores. In H&B it's usually next to the malt extract and other cooking things.

You may not find "Blackstrap" but Molasses is sold in the UK.



The most popular is Tate & Lyle's Black Treacle, find it in any supermarket. Look in the section that has jams and honey. Look for a gold red and black tin.

Try health-food shops and the larger supermarkets for something that calls itself "molasses"

I suspect that they don't refer to it as Blackstrap Molasses. You might want to look at Treacle, though.
