Does a pomegranate press save the seeds?

I want a press that saves seeds, if there is such a thing. I'm not sure if it saves them.

first make one hole in the pomegranate and empty out the juice. then fill a sink with cold water and cut the pomegranate into four quarters under water. pull out the seeds with your fingers and then catch them in a sieve. easy as the pith and skin remain in the sink ready for disposal. if you press the seeds, they'll have no flavor.
