Bananas can be an important part of a healthy diet. They contain potassium and fiber, and are low in calories. They are typically considered a healthy food. The appropriate number of bananas a person should eat in one day varies from person to person. Some people can tolerate higher amounts of minerals and vitamins, while others need less.A single banana with two other varieties of fruit would be the healthiest option

Bananas are quite safe to eat, even non-organic bananas. As long as the peel is in tact, not much can get through the peel.

I have never heard of anyone being allergic or intolerant to bananas, As others have said they are high in potassium and other nutrients, You may get mild indigestion if you eat under-ripe bananas due to starch content. They are somewhat higher in calories than for instance oranges or apples but are much healthier than sugar-loaded desserts.

Well, if you drop the peel on the floor they are kind of slippery, other than that they're pretty safe....
According to the Wiki, only about 1% of the population shows any allergy to bananas, so they are remarkably unreactive.
