Slowly sip on ice water, see if you can have it last a half hour. For variety and health add some fresh lemon juice and zest once in a while.

Slowly eat an orange, then if you're still hungry I start munching on the peel. I don't eat anything else until the peel is gone. You can look up the health of it but, they're used to make marmalade, and I find they are an appetite suppressant.

Then probably air popped popcorn with nutritional yeast if you need something on it.

Our brains react to refined sugar and wheat flour the same as a drug...you can look it up. That's why you have the cravings probably. Sometimes our bodies are actually telling us that we need somethings. Some times it is as simple as water. There are also articles on replacing unhealthy cravings with healthy options. Having boring food around for most of the times is another solution, make a game out of how long you can go with some kind of reward, non sugar treat.

For real, go searching around the natural/ethnic/vegan section of the grocery store! There are a ton of delicious snacks that still aren't the healthiest in the world but SOOO much better than fast food. My favorites are vegetarian "chicken" strips (taste the same but are plant-based) with a little sriracha, and popcorn (I buy huge bags or organic kernels that I pop at home on the stove) mixed with coconut oil and herbs/spices instead of fatty butter and salt. Or hummus and veggies or rice chips!! Also apple slices dipped in almond or peanut butter (the natural stuff, not the sugar-filled stuff. But mostly I just like chips ;P.

drink something hot such as peppermint tea or try eating dark chocolate with a tablespoon of organic peanut butter, the dark chocolate is really good for your heart and one tablespoon of peanut butter will give you protein and hopefully kill your munchies

Make home made food which is always healthier. Even home made burgers are healthy and not only that the meat is real meat.
