What brand of ranch dressing is served at restaurants?

Like the kind you get at most salad bars or Chili's or Old Chicago. It's more watery than creamy and it's not as seasoned as Hidden Valley or the ranch you buy at grocery stores.

Of course not every restaurant is going to use the same kind!!!! Certainly some make their own recipe, others use a brand that they get through their supplier

I agree... yum! Try the ranch dressing that is in the refrigerated section of the grocery store... marie calendar's is good and I think there are some others. Usually they are near the produce and a little more expensive and come in a jar. Also, if you like the ranch from a particular restaurant and it isn't a huge inconvenience, you could ask if you can buy some for take-out. I did that at a mexican restaurant where I liked their salsa- they gave me a huge container of it for $2.50.

The ranch you get at restaurants is powder, buttermilk, and sour cream. The powder they have at chilis is made by brinker international (they own the chain and make alot of they're ingredients, like mcdonalds does). Basically, lots of buttermilk, 1/4 sour cream, and the ranch mix you use. You can make this at home with the hidden valley packets.

I have had restaurant managers tell me that they do use Hidden Valley Ranch dressing at their restaurants.

I have asked this question on yahoo also because i love chili's ranch dressing.Nothing compares ..hidden valley is too over done..strong.
I have mixed the pouch dry kind myself and not put in the whole dry package it comes out pretty good....I need to ask chili's because i could drown myself in the ranch dressing also...we ask for extra to dip to fries in ...my grand baby needs two cups of it for her fries.lol
I have found though its thick marzetti's carrot dip in little containers is good..
We dont have an old chicago around so not sure about it never been there...

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU9Sl
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

a lot of restaurants have their own manufacturers and recipes, but some use ranch dressing packets and make it up themselves. I work at Uno's chicago grill and ours is uno's dressing

I have worked at many different places, and they all use different ones. The one I presently work at makes there own with buttermilk and some mix.
