No I haven't eaten alligator (crocodiles here), but I believe it tastes like chicken, and I have heard this comment a few times. I guess because the meat is white?

Alligator is delicious. It has a steak-like texture but a milder taste. Swamp 'n' turf is a favourite of mine - alligator steak and a nice rump or fillet of beef served together with seasonal vegetables. Mmmmm!

It tastes a bit like Golden Eagle, with a hint of Swan, and a touch of Dolphin. I like eating it with Panda and Rhino soup, or a side of Gorilla. I also like to make a smoothie out of it, by blending Baby Kangaroo and Kitten.

I best describe it as "fishy chicken steak!" I rather liked it (except that both times it was deep fried and I'm not a fan of deep frying). It looks like chicken breast, it has the consistency of steak, but it does have sort of a seafood flavour...clear as mud?

It's white meat. It flakes like chicken does, but it tastes somewhere between chicken and shrimp. Has the texture of chicken, but tastes more like shrimp than chicken... at least, for me.

As I remember it was like steak (beef) except I'm sure it was white meat not red.

I never ate an alligator,I don`t know what it taste like and i will never trie it.But I like to trie something difrent.

My Dad did and he said it was like chicken they fried it and made a sandwich out of it
