Anyone else think Sainsbury's prices are insane nowadays?

I asked a member of staff and they said that Sainsbury's share price has dropped so much in the last three years, they are really struggling.


Nothing half price

No buy 1 get 1 free

£1.50 for three bits of corned beef!!!!!

Crazy prices, I can't be the only one who thinks so right?

Shop at Aldi. I only shop at Tesc and Sainsbury if Aldi haven't got it. You will save a chunk of cash compared with Sainsbury's and the produce is to a high standard. The checkout people are rapid too. No idle chat at Aldi.

it isn't just Sainsbury! All merchants are struggling to cover the costs of ordering merchandise and marking it up enough to cover building, utilities, employees, etc! Quitchurbellyachin about the lack of sale items!

if you want a bargain from there, head for the biscuit section where they beat tesco on things like club biscuits almost every week - also the packet pasta sauces and mugshots and microwave rice. i moan because they have so many buy two at a discount price!
