Whatever happened to Lemon Lays chips?!?

Question

So in 2001 I found the perfect chips, Lemon favor.. I moved to Canada and I looked for them everywhere. I finally moved back to the U.S and they're GONE!!
Can anyone tell me why?

I've work at the grocery store for the past 17 years.

I have never hear of that product. It must have been a regional experiment. They introduce 6000 products a year...

only 10 % make the cut.

The rest are Lemon Lays!

Somebody liked them, but not enough to support producing it.



I read a thing on Moon Pies. The bakery that makes them made a total of 200 hundred snacks until they introduced the Moon Pie... now all they make is Moon Pies.

What grocery store chains do you shop at? The Jewel's,Woodmans, Meijers,Dominicks here in IL carry it. Lays does make it , the bag is a limish yellow. And might say

limon or in spanish.

I've seen them and wondered what they might taste like. Have you also checked in the spanish grocery sections of the stores you shop ?

i havent seen the lemon lays.. i have seen the lime.. they are in a green bag.. maybe its just where you live.. I live in Texas and every 7-11 has them..

it is prob cuz they were not selling like they thought they should so they discontuined them you might be able to get them if you tried to talk to a distubiter and see if by chance they still make them they might you never no they will take them out of some places and start selling them at other if they sell better it wouldnt hurt to check

they still make em......called limon chips or u can get these one kind of chips, they a re tortilla chips with a hint of lime.
