I usually make myself a salad of cherry tomatoes, onion, red pepper, fresh green chili, grated carrot, baby gem lettuce and sometimes peas with smoked mackerel and chili sauce.

Sometimes i have a bit of feta instead of the Mackerel and on occasion add olives and jalapenos to the mix!

Its really healthy and tasty. but the onions can be a bit stinky!

On payday i sometimes get a boots meal deal, in which case i will go for (when i am eating bread) a skinny Minnie sandwich from the organic Sandwich co (Tuna, humus, grated carrot and cumin seeds with red pepper and leaves on whole wheat bread) or a Chicken Noodle salad with Edamame Beans.

Most days I will pack my own lunch as of late.

I usually make a pasta salad with raw peppers, red onion, pasta, and a tin of mackerel or tuna. Sometimes I add sweetcorn or something. I then drizzle it with a store-bought salad dressing in the morning (I make enough for two days the night before).

I am looking into making a cold asian noodle salad using my own dressing. I aim to make the pasta salad with my own dressings too but baby steps.

I also am experimenting with sandwiches, which I don't normally like that much, but I'm having a good go. I am fortunate in that I prefer brown bread. I sometimes shove some spinach (fresh) or cheese into a sandwich, but I think I will try adding things like hummus.

I avoid store bought sandwiches because they are really really bad... the ingredients list is longer than my arm full of preservatives. Plus they use low quality ingredients and charge a huge amount for 2 slices of bread with a bit of mush inside.

Making my own really helps me reach my target of 5 fruit and veg a day.

In high school, I packed lunch everyday. I usually had a turkey/provolone wrap with some sort of fruit and water. or chicken salad with sunchips to dip in and fruit and water.

In college, i just eat at the dining halls. usually i will have a salad with chow mein, craisins, sunflower seeds, peanuts, cottage cheese, carrots, and honey mustard. it sounds really weird but is actually delicious. then i have water/lemonade/juice and some sort of warm food like macaroni n cheese or mashed potatos.

One thing to think about when you go to colleges: Many colleges put laxatives in their food so that the food passes through the students faster and there is a smaller chance of food poisoning should something go wrong. So, maybe high schools do it too...

I'm a fast food addict. I'll go to KFC one day, Arby's the next day, and Tubby's the day after that. I always get lunch after my college classes are done. I don't even eat breakfast cause I'm never hungry in the mornings. so when i eat lunch, i usually eat ALOT of food (one time I ordered 2 double whoppers from BK and wolfed them down in an hour)

I pack a couple sandwiches and crackers usually, but sometimes I end up eating taquitos from 7 11 because they are so yummy :)

When I have the time/ energy to pack it... I will. That typically consists of everything in the kitchen that looks good.

Normally, though, I either forget or don't have time so I go without eating (unhealthy, yes, but sadly.... I almost don't have time to eat in school)

I have always been a big fan of smearing a fresh can of pig brains on ritz crackers or delicious Bull testicle paste on english muffins.
