my mom isn't listening to me about spoiled pumpkin.?

she keeps insiting that its not spoiled.
so she wants to to eat it, with sugar and she's going to boil it.and eat it.

is it bad what's the worst that can happen?

How old are you? Obviously not as old as your mom who has life experience, I'm sure she would know if it was rotten or not. Relax, don't eat any if you don't want to, but don't try to ruin ur moms fun, grow up.

Does your mom not have a sense of smell (I know some older people don't)? A spoiled pumpkin smells very nasty and I don't know how she could choke it down if it's really spoiled.



Food poisoning, although it can be fatal due to dehydration, is usually just a a day or two of vomiting and/or diarrhea. If she stays hydrated, she'll probably be fine and will be more careful in the future.

Well the worst thing that will happen - she will be in the bathroom for a long time. Yikes. I have had food poisoning, not so much fun.

Let her have it. Some people have to learn that the stove is hot for themselves. (= the hard way)
